Paducah Main Street is hosting the Bourbon on the Backstretch: The Water of Life and Derby Festival on Saturday, May 3, 2025. This is a fun multi-block party in downtown Paducah from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Activities include live music, street vendors, pony rides (at limited times), a hat contest, stick horse races, and more.
The event will be held on Broadway Street from 2nd Street to North Water, along North Water Street to Jefferson Street, and Jefferson Street from North Water to 2nd Street. There will be activities on the east side of Market House Square, too. A section of 2nd Street from Broadway to just past the carriage corner will be closed. The road closures start at 7:30 a.m. on May 3.
