Paducah-McCracken County Joint 911 Parcel Fee Appeals Board

The Paducah-McCracken County Joint 911 Parcel Fee Appeals Board was created by Paducah Code of Ordinance No. 2024-10-8827 and the City/County Agreement For Provision of Emergency 911 Services.

The Appeals Board consist of five (5) citizens who shall not be elected officials nor employees of the City or County.  The Mayor of the City of Paducah shall appoint two (2) members, the Judge Executive of McCracken County shall appoint two (2) members and the Mayor and Judge Executive shall jointly appoint one (1) member.  All appointees shall serve a two-year term.

The Appeals Board shall determine all appeals filed by property owners concerning the classification of their property as related to the 911 Real Estate Parcel Fee.

Paducah-McCracken 911 Board (Administrative Board)

The Paducah-McCracken County 911 Board is the administrative board over the 911 division created by Paducah Code of Ordinance No. 2024-10-8827 and the City/County Agreement For Provision of Emergency 911 Services. The 911 division is managed by the Paducah Police Department

The 911 Board shall consist of five (5) citizens who shall not be elected officials nor employees of the City or County. The Mayor of the City of Paducah shall appoint two (2) members, the Judge Executive of McCracken County shall appoint two (2) members and the Mayor and Judge Executive shall jointly appoint one (1) member. All appointees shall serve a two-year term.

The board members receive a compensation of $200 per meeting along with the reimbursement of reasonable expenses and mileage. Payments are issued from the 911 operating budget.
